Who we are

Buzzer Desk is a sports media brand run by Opt Insider LLC, a Florida limited liability company. In this policy, "Buzzer Desk", "we" and "us" mean Opt Insider LLC.

This policy covers buzzerdesk.com and the tool we use to publish to our Instagram account, @buzzerdeskhq. You can reach us at hello@buzzerdesk.com.

What this website collects

You can read this website without giving us any personal information. We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies, and the fonts and images are served from our own site.

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel automatically records basic technical details of each request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use these logs only to keep the site running and secure. We do not use them to identify or profile visitors.

If you email us

If you write to hello@buzzerdesk.com, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it to reply to you and to handle your request, such as a correction or a collaboration. We keep correspondence for as long as we need it for that purpose, and we delete it if you ask.

Our Instagram publishing tool

Buzzer Desk uses a private app, connected to Instagram through Meta's developer platform, to publish our own posts to our own Instagram Business account, @buzzerdeskhq.

• The app is not offered to the public. Nobody outside Buzzer Desk can sign in to it or connect an account to it.
• It does not access, collect or store information about other Instagram users, including our followers and people who comment on our posts.
• The only Instagram information it handles belongs to our own account: the account ID, the posts we publish and the access token that allows publishing.
• Every post is reviewed and approved by a person before it is published.

When you follow, like or comment on Instagram, that activity is handled by Meta under Meta's own privacy policy, not this one.

How our posts are made

Our posts are researched from public sources, such as league, team and news accounts and published reports. We do not use audience data to make them.

Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. The only companies that handle information for us are the services that run the site and our inbox: our web host and our email provider. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Deleting your data

The only personal information we are likely to hold about you is email you have sent us. To have it deleted, or to ask what we hold, email hello@buzzerdesk.com. The full steps are on our data deletion page.

Children

Buzzer Desk is general-audience sports content. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Visitors from outside the United States

Buzzer Desk is based in the United States. If you contact us from another country, your message is processed in the United States.

Changes to this policy

If what we collect changes, for example if we add analytics or an email sign-up, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
